Elgin Charter School Initiative Receives Mary Gardner Educational Foundation Grant

ECSI is the proud recipient of a $10,000 Mary Gardner Educational Foundation Grant.  The Gardner Foundation was established to assist and promote the education and development of disadvantaged children.  ECSI’s charter school will serve all children:  it expects that the student body of the school will reflect Elgin’s diverse racial and socioeconomic community.  This Grant will allow ESCI to continue its invaluable partnership with the Illinois Network of Charter Schools, as it pursues its mission to bring excellence of choice to Elgin.
